Pond Maintenance
Regular care that keeps your koi pond healthy long after the build is done.
A koi pond doesn’t run itself. Filtration needs checking, water parameters drift, and debris builds up — and koi are far less forgiving of neglected water quality than ornamental fish. We offer both recurring maintenance plans and one-time services, so you can choose the level of care that matches your pond and your schedule.
Recurring Plans:
- Essential Care (Monthly) — Filter backwashing, water quality testing, skimmer basket clearing, and a visual koi health check.
- Premium Flow (Bi-Weekly) — Everything in Essential Care, plus bottom drain purging, UV light inspection, and minor debris netting.
One-Time Services:
- Deep Spring / Post-Monsoon Cleanouts — full system flush, draining if necessary, pressure washing, and resetting the biological filters.
- Emergency / Rescue Calls — for water parameter crashes or pump failures.
Most koi ponds do best on a recurring plan, with a deep cleanout once or twice a year around the monsoon season — but if you just need a one-time fix or an emergency visit, that’s available too.
Regular monthly and bi-weekly maintenance plans are available across Hyderabad and Secunderabad. For one-time consulting or major cleanout projects, we also travel further across Telangana — get in touch to check if we cover your location.
FAQ's
How often should a koi pond be serviced?
A well-designed koi pond with a strong filtration system requires a professional check-up once a month to maintain stable water parameters and ensure equipment is running smoothly. We also recommend a Deep System Cleanout 1–2 times a year, typically before and after the monsoon season, to purge accumulated waste and reset the biological filters.
What’s the difference between Essential Care and Premium Flow?
Essential Care is a monthly visit covering filter backwashing, water testing, skimmer clearing, and a koi health check. Premium Flow is bi-weekly and adds bottom drain purging, UV light inspection, and debris netting — suited to ponds with higher bio-load or owners who want closer monitoring.
Do you cover areas outside Hyderabad?
Regular maintenance plans are currently limited to Hyderabad and Secunderabad. For one-time cleanouts or consulting, we do travel further across Telangana — reach out and we’ll confirm whether your location is covered.
What if something goes wrong with my pond suddenly — a pump failure or a water crash?
We offer emergency/rescue call-outs for exactly this kind of situation. Contact us as soon as you notice a problem — some issues, like an oxygen or ammonia crash, can affect koi quickly.
